Treats for Troops

Help support our troops (100 Soldiers) in the Delta Company stationed in Afghanistan by donating items for their care packs.

“What can I put in the care packs?”

  • Chips
  • Tuna
  • Jerky
  • Pretzels
  • Pop Tarts
  • Jelly Beans
  • Rice Krispie Treats
  • Trail mixes
  • Chewing Gum
  • Nuts
  • Ground Coffee
  • Gatorade Packs
  • Crystal Light Packs
  • Packaged cookies
  • Hot Chocolate
  • Packaged Crackers with cheese or with peanut butter
  • Pop Corn – Microwave type

The soldiers LOVE homemade baked goods, BUT, as the weather gets warmer, chocolate will melt. Also, if the baked goods are soft and moist they could mold.

Items may be dropped off at the Kent City High School Office –
February 20th through March 9th
Monday through Friday
Between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Families and friends of the Delta Company will pack care packs and pay shipping cost.

If you have any questions please call –

Preschool: Tuition and Scholarship Funding

Tuition and Scholarship Funding

The Preschool Team would like to put out a request to anyone that can help with funding for preschool scholarships.   We had several students that were unable to attend this year due to financial reasons.  We would love to find funding so that all students that would like to attend our program, and need financial assistance, can be accommodated.  Any amount would be greatly appreciated and checks could be made out to Kent City Preschool noting that it is to be applied to our scholarship fund.

For more information please contact one of the Preschool team 678-4181:

Grab Your Scissors and Lend a Hand

The PTCO’s Box Tops for Education, Labels for Education, Spartan Labels and Coke Caps drive was a big success last week. We now need help sorting, cutting and counting the contributions so we can submit to the appropriate companies.

Bring you scissors and join the fun. There is always great conversation and plenty of laughs during “cutting parties.” If you are available to help Tuesday (1/29) or Wednesday (1/30), please contact Roberta Miller.
